Entropy and Subtle Interactions
نویسنده
چکیده
Entropy considerations are used to determine the types of subtle interactions (SI), or psi phenomena, that are consistent with the second law of thermodynamics. The analysis is preceded by a short tutorial on entropy and the second law of thermodynamics. For a coherent advanced (retrocausation) signal to exist, it would conflict with the second law in forward time because it would require a reduction in the entropy of background fluctuations from which the wave appeared to condense. The compensating increase in entropy of the source would occur only later. For advanced phenomena that require only a quantum trigger rather than a coherent wave, there is no conflict with the second law. These concepts are generalized to include all SI, even if they are not retrocausal. Examples of allowed SI are described between living beings and (i) other animate systems, (ii.a) electronic random event generators and (ii.b) non-electronic inanimate systems, and also between (iii) one inanimate system and another.

Evaluation of Drug Interactions and Prescription Errors of Poultry Veterinarians in North of Iran
Drug prescription errors are a common cause of adverse incidents and may lead to adverse outcomes, sometimes in subtle ways, being compounded by circumstances or further errors. Therefore, it is important that veterinarians issue the correct drug at the correct dose. Using two or more prescribed drugs may lead to drug interactions. Some drug interactions are very harmful and may have potential ...
متن کاملCalculation of Kolmogorov Entropy in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics
In this paper Kolomogorov entropy of a simulated cavity quantum electrodynamics in a multi-partite system consisting of eight quantum dots in interaction with one cavity mode has been estimated. It has been shown that the Kolmogorov Entropy monotonically increases with the increasing coupling strength, which is a sufficient condition for chaotic behavior under ultrastrong coupling regime. The a...

In the present study, the binding isotherms for interaction of a homologous series of n-alkyltrimethyl ammonium bromides with bovine serum albumin (BSA) have been analyzed on basis of intrinsic thermodynamic quantities. In this regards, the intrinsic Gibbs free energy of binding, AGb(i,)„ has been estimated at various surfactant concentrations and its trend of variation for both binding sets ha...
متن کاملDeveloping principles for predicting ionic liquid effects on reaction outcome. The importance of the anion in controlling microscopic interactions.
A series of ionic liquids containing anions of differing coordination strength were investigated as solvents for the condensation reaction of an alkyl amine and an aromatic aldehyde. As predicted, the rate constant of the process was found to increase with the proportion of the ionic liquid in the reaction mixture. Temperature-dependent kinetic analyses demonstrated that by varying the ability ...
